On 27–28 August 2024, EERC Chairman Eng. Ahmed Salem attended a waste management workshop organised by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport together with Alexandria Governorate and Nahdet Misr, in cooperation with Germany’s ReTech association.
The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and the Waste Management Regulatory Agency. The governors of Alexandria, Kafr El-Sheikh and Dakahlia attended, along with ministry representatives and international specialists, to discuss the challenges and opportunities in waste management and propose new initiatives.
