Egyptian Electronic Waste Recycling Company (EERC), represented by Eng. Ahmed Salem, Chairman, participated in attending the workshop on waste management with the participation of ministers, governors and international experts who discussed waste management and proposed innovative initiatives.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport organized a waste management workshop on Tuesday, August 27-28, 2024, in partnership with Alexandria Governorate and Nahdet Misr Company, in cooperation with the German Retech Foundation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and the Waste Management Regulatory Agency.

The workshop was attended by General Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, Governor of Alexandria, General Alaa Abdel Moaty, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, General Tarek Zaqzouq, Governor of Dakahlia, and Dr. Abdullah Nassour, Director of the Tomali Project at the University of Rostock in Germany and President of the German ReTech Group Association, in addition to representatives of ministries and specialized experts from various fields, with the aim of shedding light on the challenges and opportunities related to waste management.
