PCB & Circuit Board Recycling in Egypt

Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are the most valuable — and most complex — part of electronic waste: they contain copper and precious metals alongside materials that must be handled safely. EERC recycles circuit boards from IT equipment and electronics manufacturers through a certified multi-stage process of crushing, chemical treatment, grinding and separation.

  • Boards from computers, servers, telecom and electronics
  • Multi-stage crushing, treatment and separation
  • Licensed by WMRA, ISO 14001 certified
  • Recycling documentation for your records

What PCBs we accept

  • Motherboards and boards from computers and servers
  • Boards from network and telecom equipment
  • Electronic board scrap from manufacturers and assemblers
  • Boards from office and industrial electronics

How PCB recycling works

Boards are first separated from equipment during manual disassembly. They are then crushed, go through a first chemical treatment, are ground and separated, and go through a second chemical treatment. This recovers materials such as copper and keeps hazardous substances out of the environment.

Looking ahead: precious-metal recovery in Egypt

In July 2025 EERC signed a memorandum of understanding with Italy’s IREN Group to establish a plant in Egypt for recovering precious metals — copper, gold, silver, platinum and palladium — from e-waste using Italian wet-processing technology, the first of its kind planned in the Middle East and Africa.
